We're really happy we stayed here for five pleasant, sunny days; the staff was fantastic and always very efficient, and it's a great spot to stay compared to other places in the area.

Clean, comfortable room, friendly and helpful staff and owner; good location for exploring the chateaux of the Loire valley.
Our room was on the 2nd floor and there was no lift, but to be fair it was classified 2 star so couldn't really expect one.

The hotel staff was very friendly and went out of their way to see to our needs. When they saw us looking at tourist fliers, they came up and handed us a regional map with Chateaus highlighted. Its location is very central to many of the local attractions
The room was basic, but comfortable. Would have liked a shower curtain for the option to take a standing shower but the bathroom facilities were clean and adequate.

The hotel was very nice, very clean. The service was good. The hotel has 3 floors and no elevator, as well it has wi fi which didn't work in our room but only in the lobby and the owner didn't particularly care about that when I told him although he was nice overall. There was no curtain in the shower. It seems the room was recently renovated and smelled strongly of glue or paint or...and we had to leave the window open a long time. But it was a sweet room. The breakfast was nice and again, it was all very clean and neat which was so important to me. Recommended if you don't mind walking up stairs with your luggage.

Dinner was very good and good value.
Access to room for luggage was very poor. Luggage had to be carried up long flight of stairs for access. No help offered. Bathroom door did not close in the room, not chateau quality.

Very friendly staff, excellent English communication. Adapted room for wheelchair access, excellent bathroom. Good location, easy to find, close to supermarket and filling station. Quiet and plenty of parking. Good food, limited but good quality evening meal, decent continental breakfast. Owner is friendly and helpful.
Felt good, no complaints.

The hotel was very well located for exploring the Loire valley, and especially the chateaux. We had a lovely large room with a private terrace, and the shower was particularly attractive, with slate type walls and a pebble floor. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and we thought that the food was very good. There were just two fixed price menus, but you can mix and match from both menus, paying extra when necessary. We had originally intended to eat in Azay itself some evenings, but we enjoyed the food so much that we ate in every night we were there, and the local wines were also very good. The walk into Azay took about 10-15 mins., so was very convenient, but a bit steep on the way back!

The hotel was easy to find and had a large car park, which was a huge relief. the room was clean and comfortable, with a nice bathroom and shower. It was also great to have air conditioning in the room. the staff were friendly and spoke English, which made communication easy. the evening meal was really delicious, with a good choice of options, and the buffet breakfast the next morning was a nice touch. the location of the hotel was convenient, with only a 10-15 minute walk into the town center.
That the hotel is located on a busy crossroads, but thankfully the traffic noise was not a problem at night. Some areas of the hotel, particularly the reception areas, looked a bit cluttered and like work in progress.
